Description: The Nursing Scholarship is available to Illinois residents pursuing a certificate in practical nursing, a hospital-based diploma in nursing, an associate degree in applied nursing, a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a graduate degree in nursing at Illinois nursing schools approved by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. You must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident . Upon completion of certification, you must work in Illinois as a nurse providing direct patient care for an equivalent amount of time that funding was received.
